Wales’ government and in turn its water sector is becoming increasingly independent from the rest of the UK, but collaboration – both cross-border and within the country – remains the key to maximising the possibilities for innovation and commercial prosperity within the sector. This will require the inclusion and involvement of all stakeholders who stand to both impact and benefit from a healthy and productive water environment.

The 4th annual WWT Wales Water Conference is the flagship event bringing together not just those directly involved in providing a clean, efficient and resilient water supply, but also land managers, large water users, councils, regulators, NGOs and government bodies with a responsibility or stake in its improvement.

If the puzzle can be pieced together with efficiency and resilience as key pieces Wales will find itself in a position to benefit from a sustainable and economically profitable water sector with the potential to attract overseas investment and the opportunity to sell its knowledge and expertise abroad.
