Job Title: Head of capital business unit & programme management office

Educated at Royal Belfast Academical Institution, University of Ulster and Bristol University, Mark has 23 years’ experience on the operations side of Northern Ireland Water. During this time, he has gained experience across many operational areas of the business, including at differing times having regional responsibility for; leakage and metering and billing, water supply and M&E services, divisional business unit, water networks distribution and maintenance, sewerage networks, capital maintenance (wastewater treatment, water treatment, networks enhancements, etc.)

For the past 13 years Mark has worked within or as head of the capital works programme business unit, with responsibility for delivery of the CWP through managing the procurements, the governance, the programming and planning, supplier performance, risk, costs and output achievement.

Currently Mark is establishing a capital programme management office at Northern Ireland Water.
